Comcast DVR like Tivo
The thing I don't like about the Comcast DVR is that it is not like Tivo in the fact that when you fast forward and hit play Tivo jumps back about 5 seconds and Comcast doesn't. I came up with a workaround. On comcast click fast forward twice then when you see the show hit the instant replay button (looks like a arrow going counter-clockwise). Then presto you are lined up.

You should mention that DirecTv also has the jump-back feature. And I am not sure but I think Charter communications uses the same DVR boxes as Comcast and probably therefore doesn't have the feature either.
Comcast now does bounce back like the others
